Meet the Founder
Peter DeBartolo is Founder and President of Advancing Visions LLC. He has provided strategic consulting and management services to leading non-profits, non-governmental organizations, and social enterprises around the world, specializing in organizational development and positioning, stakeholder analysis, and strategic communications.
Peter completed his B.A. in Political Studies and Global & International Studies at Bard College, and studied at the Bard Globalization & International Affairs Program in New York City. He later attended Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, where he completed his M.A. in Political Science, and undertook Ph.D. coursework in Political Science and Sociology. Recently, Peter was named a StartingBloc Fellow at the 2010 New York Institute for Social Innovation hosted by New York University. He is a frequent lecturer on civil society, global social innovation, and international affairs, and teaches at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
